Information, Guidance and Advocacy (IGA)

What does this service offer:

Support to speak up, access services and live independently.

What we offer:

Our IGA service supports disabled people with Benefits, Housing, Health, Social Care, and other independent living services. Our advocates and volunteers meet with you individually to talk about your needs and support you to live the life you want to live.

Our scope is very broad. We can support disabled people with a wide range of issues and have decades of experience within our team of Hackney and its systems. We have high success rates in achieving positive results for our clients.

How it helps:

The aim is to improve individual well-being. We want to improve the general well-being of disabled people in Hackney and have seen how providing one-to-one support and encouragement to speak up and pursue the services and benefits they deserve can massively improve their quality of life.
